At NJ Pain & Spine, our pain management practitioners treat each patient individually. Using the latest equipment and innovative procedures to diagnose pain, the practitioners determine a plan to meet the patient’s needs.
We assemble the appropriate interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who can best help our patients. This approach allows our pain management physicians a full spectrum of treatment options.
We know that understanding and effectively managing pain can be challenging. The impact of pain requires an understanding of the whole person; that is, the mind, body and spirit.
Every patient’s treatment is tailored to their unique needs. Our board-certified pain management physician will evaluate each patient, conducting various imaging tests to confirm the diagnosis. From there, the treatment typically focuses on eliminating the pain at the source while controlling the symptoms in the meantime.
We take both a long-term and a short-term approach in chronic pain treatment. Treatments such as exercise, physical therapy, and lifestyle changes provide both short- and long-term benefits. Meanwhile, discovering the source of the condition allows for a treatment that reduces or eliminates the pain, providing relief. This type of treatment can include injections combined with some of the above methods.
